Boston’s contemporary art scene is vibrant, sometimes controversial, sometimes intellectually challenging and was absolutely worth seeing this summer. Highlighted here are some of the summer’s most noteworthy art exhibitions in Boston.

Below the Jim Hodges Exhibition “Give More than You Take” at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Below are images from the music and visual experimental art project from Hodges that was exhibited this summer. The viewer walked into a large dark room with several screens on the walls of video images displayed of a weekend at the mansion of the descendants of an aristocratic family and their friends. The images are of several rooms with musical artists singing and playing instruments of various songs simultaneously. Viewing the private moments of each of these artists in their spaces during their creative moments was emotionally moving and for the viewer a feeling of voyeurism.
As you can see I have placed very few words in this blog posting. I honestly feel the art speaks for itself and nothing more from me is needed.
